Retro Video Games
Vintage, Retro and Modern-day video games and consoles
Ewbank’s are delighted to announce we're diversifying our offerings for all those looking to buy or sell vintage, retro and modern-day video games and consoles. Ewbank’s will be holding regular video game auctions that include a mix of modern-day and retro items.
Ewbank’s will be offering an exciting range of rarities, classic titles, consoles, and sealed games. We are currently looking for individuals or companies interested in selling retro video games or items via our upcoming auctions.
The Vintage Era (1970s-1980s)
We are looking for fully tested, working consoles and vintage games from the golden age of gaming. Atari's Commandor 64, the Nintendo Entertainment System - everything is welcome. Individual items are welcome, with rarer games such as Air Raid taking centre stage, but we are happy to sell collections with common titles.
We're also on the lookout for any memorabilia and marketing items from the time. This includes magazines and advertising posters. So, if you have something that you think would fit in, please do get in touch and speak with our dedicated team for a free evaluation.
The Retro Era (1990-2000s)
The retro age offers a wider variety of products from the Atari, Nintendo, Sega, and Sony console and handheld ranges. This includes:
- Nintendo 64
- Sony PlayStation One
- Sega Dreamcast
Sealed and graded retro games from this period are very popular, with several reaching over half a million in recent auctions.
Ewbank’s dedicated team of experts will work with each seller to determine the best way to sell their collection, whether it's an entire collection or an individual item.
We are also on the lookout for memorabilia from this era, such as:
- figures, figurines and statues
- art books
- strategy guides
The Modern Era (2010 to present)
Ewbank's are aware that the recent generations have a home in people's hearts. We are seeking fully working consoles, games, and oddities from the current generations, including everything from full/complete sets to fully-boxed, sealed consoles.
For the Modern era, we’ll also be selling bundles or small collections of games from one specific console, such as the Xbox 360 or PS3. We’re also open for oddities and promotional material such as standees and signed posters and games.
